Here, we've made a necklace for a 14" neckline so the clasp area is taped on the 14" line.

String your strands in any pattern you wish. You can use the EZ Necklace to plan where your focal beads will lay in relation to each other.

When you are satisfied with your design, temporarily attach a clasp with flattened crimp beads. (See illustration below.)  If your design and the size turned out right, crimp the crimp beads with a crimping tool and you're done.




The EZ Bracelet and EZ Necklace arrive flat. You assemble them with the adhesive strip.

How to temporarily
attach a clasp:

Attach the clasp to the necklace with crimp beads. BUT rather than crimping at this point, flatten the crimp beads with a chain nose pliers. (The pointy pliers with the smooth flat jaws.)

Check your design and sizing. If it still isn’t right, re-open the crimp beads using the outer jaw of the crimping tool, i.e., the jaw closest to the tip.  To do this, place the flattened crimp bead vertically in the outer jaw and squeeze gently. Remove the crimp, add or remove beads and try again.

This necklace is 17.5" long. But it will only fit around a 16.5" neck.

The EZ Necklace will help you to accurately determine the finished length of a
single strand choker.

With most designs, it will help you determine the drape of multi-strand necklaces too. In the example above, Jill's neck measures 14". So, we taped the clasp of the necklace at the 14" mark on the EZ necklace.  The focal beads line up the same on Jill's neck as they do on the EZ Necklace. But we can't guarantee this will work for all styles of necklaces.
