A note about displays
I made jewelry to sell at craft shows for 8
years. I then opened a bead store which I owned for 6
years. So, I have a lot of experience in displaying
jewelry.
In my opinion, black displays suck the color out of
jewelry. Most jewelry, other than clear crystals or white
beads, looks best on a white back ground.
I've chosen displays that I like, that are inexpensive and
that have worked the best for me.
Velvet gets dirty really fast. White leatherette holds up
much better and can be cleaned. It does start to yellow if
left in sunlight for a few months. But these pieces are
inexpensive enough that it won't break your budget to replace
them from time to time.
